Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration: PHOTO CONTEST!

Celebrate the beauty of Spring at Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa during our 2^nd  Annual Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration on Sunday, May 13, 2012! While visiting the resort and enjoying the array of local artisans, craftspeople & entertainment, we invite you to capture the beauty of the season through photography. Whether amateur or professional, all photo submissions will be accepted for review. So remember to bring your camera & we look forward to seeing you at the 2^nd Annual Tulip Festival!

Prizes:

• First place will be awarded a weekend stay for two in one of the Resorts suites! The first place winner’s artwork will also be displayed on the resort’s website for the rest of the year!
• Second place will be provided with a weekend stay for two in Executive accommodations!
• Third place will be provided a weekend stay in Deluxe accommodations!
• Honorable mentions (fourth & fifth place) will be presented with a souvenir from the Honor’s Haven Gift Shop!

How to Enter:

• To enter, please fill out the Tulip Festival Photo Contest Application for Submission. You can find that here; (Application Form PDF)
• Then, follow the directions below to upload your photo submission to the Honor’s Haven Facebook Page.

• Photo, description and submission form must be received no later than 4:30PM on deadline date of May 27, 2012. Forms can be mailed to Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa, 1195 Arrowhead Road, Ellenville, NY 12428; Attn: Tulip Festival Photo Contest or faxed to 845-210-3147. Photos should be submitted via Facebook (Honor’s Haven Resort). Please include name of entrant, photo title/caption and the location of photo when uploading. Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa is not responsible for any lost or misdirected entries. Submission form MUST be received for uploaded photos to be entered into the contest.

2. Click the “Photo” tab. Then click, “Upload a Photo”

 



3. Click the “Browse…” button & select the photo from your computer. Then, add a description of the photo & your contact information & click “Share”

Official Rules

The Tulip Festival Photo Contest is open to all guests attending the 2^nd Annual Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration (May 13, 2012). Entry must be the original work of the entrant and the entrant must be the sole owner of the copyright of such entry. Entries should reflect the essence of Mother’s Day, Spring Time and the Festival at Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa and must not be inappropriate or offensive, as determined by the management of Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa. The entry cannot defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or property rights or any other third-party rights. Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry it deems to be inappropriate or offensive, that is not keeping with the Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa’s terms of these official rules. Entrant must have obtained express written consent to submit any entry that contains persons other than entrant or third-party elements not owned by the entrant or Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa and if requested to do so, produce such written consent from appropriate parties in a form and manner acceptable to Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa.

By submitting an entry, each entrant grants Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa exclusive rights to use, modify, crop and distribute the entry and all elements of such entry, including, without limitation, entrant’s photograph and entrant’s name. Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa is not responsible for lost, garbled, damaged, delayed or misdirected entries.

If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa may disqualify anyone from participating in the contest.
