| Brotherhood Winery |
| |
| Take a tour of America's oldest continuously operated winery.
The treasured winery's John Jaques building, named after its founder, provides
entry to a network of old subterranean caves, where wines are aged in a variety
of oak vessels, some dating back to the 1840's. Also housing a cafe and art gallery,
Brotherhood produces an array of wines, from basic table wines and fortified wines
to dessert wines and premium varietal wines. |

| Orange County Fair Speedway |
| |
| Stock car racing as it is known today began on September
18, 1948. The very first heat race was won by none other than Frankie Schneider,
who is our "legend in residence." Frankie still takes a big block modified out
on the 5/8-mile "Hard Clay" every now and then just to show the "kids" how it's
done. OCFS hosts five classes of racing, and something for every racer's budget.
From the PureStocks to the Mighty Big Block Modifieds, and every division in-between
(ProStock, Sportsman, Small Block Modified) the racing here is non-stop action
from green flag to checkered. |

| AROMA THYME BISTRO |
| |
| This was one of the first questions I asked Marcus Guiliano,
chef/owner of Aroma Thyme Bistro, which opened on New Year's Day, 2004. It turns
out that Guiliano is a native son who came home to Ellenville because he had faith
in the future of the small village. Marcus is ably supported by wife and co-owner
Jaime, who helps up front or in the kitchen, depending on the bistro's needs. |
