Hotel Policies

Check-In*

Guest check-in time is 3:00pm.

Our Front Desk can store luggage on a complimentary basis until rooms are prepared. All hotel amenities are available for use during this time. If rooms are requested prior to check-in time, early arrivals will be accommodated, as rooms become available. The following Early Check-In rates will apply:

  • Check-Ins before 11:00am - $50.00 + tax (based on availability)
  • Check-Ins between 11:00am and 1:00pm - $20.00 + tax (based on availability)
  • Check-Ins between 1:00pm and 3:00pm – No charge (based on availability)
Check-Out*

Guest check-out time is 11:00am.

Our Front Desk can store luggage on a complimentary basis for those guests who have checked out, but are not yet departing the hotel. Guests are asked to drop their keys off at the Front Desk upon Check-Out. Late check-out may be available upon request, but is subject to availability and upcoming reservations. The following Late Check-Out fees will apply:

  • Check-Outs between 11:00am and 12:00pm – No charge (based on availability)
  • Check-Outs between 12:00pm and 6:00pm - $20.00/hour + tax (based on availability)
  • Check-Outs after 6:00pm will be charged the prevailing rate for the full night (based on availability)
Cancellation Policy*

Should you need to cancel your reservation, please contact the Resort no less than 72-hours prior to your scheduled arrival to avoid cancellation penalties. In the event that a guest cancels their reservation within 72-hours of their scheduled arrival, a non-refundable charge of one night room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file and the remaining balance of the reservation will be canceled.

No Show Policy*

In the event that a guest fails to check-in for a guaranteed reservation, a non-refundable charge of one night room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file and the remainder of the reservation will be cancelled.

Early Departure*

If you must shorten your stay with us, we ask that you kindly do so no less than 24-hours prior to arrival to avoid any charges. Changes made upon day of arrival or after you have checked will be subject to a one night's room charge plus tax, early departure charge.

Age & Identification Requirement Policy

Guests must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation and check-in to Honor's Haven Resort & Spa.

Guests will be asked to provide valid proof of identity upon check-in.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit Cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay. The authorization will hold the funds and will appear as a pending charge. The authorization will be held until check-out. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Payment Policy

Payment for a stay will be collected upon check-in. Honor's Haven Resort & Spa accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Cash as forms of payment.

A Credit Card must be swiped at Check-In and held on file for incidental purposes. Even when a cash payment is collected, a card still needs to be swiped.

For payment arrangements to a third-party credit card, please contact the hotel's Reservation Department at least 72-hours prior to guest's arrival. Our Reservation Department is open Monday through Friday (9am-8pm EST) as well as Saturday and Sunday (9am-5pm) at (845)210-1600 or through email at reservations@honorshaven.com. For after hours, please contact the Manager on Duty or our Front Office at (845)210-1600, Toll Free (877) WOW-HAVEN.

Rollaway Bed & Baby Crib Policy

A rollaway bed or baby crib may be arranged for guest rooms for an additional $20.00 fee per night. For guarantee of rollaway please make request prior to arrival.

Occupancy Policy

All rooms have a maximum occupancy of 5 guests. Extra person fees apply after 2nd guests.

Fire Safety Policy

The hotel is fully equipped with smoke detectors and emergency evacuation plans in all rooms and public areas.

Parking Policy

Please be aware that vehicles parked in the fire lanes, no parking areas, or in any manner which impedes the flow of traffic will be issued a parking violation. These parking violations could result in a $50.00 fee that will be added to you hotel bill.

Guarantee Policy

A valid credit card guarantee, deposit or pre-payment is required at the time of booking.

Smoking Policy

In accordance with the New York State Clean Indoor Air Act, smoking is prohibited in all public spaces at Honor's Haven Resort & Spa, including conference rooms, lobbies, hallways and entryways. In addition, Honor's Haven does not allow smoking in any of its guest rooms. Violation of this policy may result in a $250.00 surcharge as well as a fine of up to $1000.00.

Lost and Found Policy

Honor's Haven Resort and Spa is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen personal items. All rooms are equipped with in- room safes. Should any guests lose personal belongings while staying at Honor's Haven, if recovered, the item will be recorded as "found." Honor's Haven keeps a detailed record of all “found” items and will make a reasonable effort to contact the guest if an item is left in the Hotel's guest room after the guest has checked-out. These items will be placed in our Lost and Found until claimed. We will ship items back at the owner's expense. Any items in the Lost & Found, which are not claimed within sixty (60) days, will be donated to a local charity or discarded.

General Policy

Honor's Haven Resort & Spa has a zero tolerance policy in which it will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in the hotel or may remove a person who: while on the premises of the hotel acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner, destroys or threatens to destroy hotel property, or causes or threatens to cause public disturbance; or refuses or is unable to pay for the accommodations or services. Honor's Haven may limit the number of guests who may occupy a particular guest room in the hotel and will only allow registered guests to use its facilities. A person who negligently or intentionally causes damages to the hotel or any furniture or furnishings within the hotel, shall be liable for damages sustained by the hotel staff, including the hotel's loss of revenue resulting from the inability to rent or lease rooms while damage is being repaired.

Housekeeping Service

We provide housekeeping service to the rooms everyday between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm. Additional needs may be handled by the Front Desk.

Children Policy

Parents and guardians are personally and legally responsible for children at all times. Please do not leave children unattended in guest rooms or anywhere on resort property. For health and safety reasons, all children under the age of 18 are not permitted in certain areas of the Spa. All children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult in order to gain access to the swimming pool. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted inside the Fitness Center, Locker Rooms, Saunas or Jacuzzis.

Pet Policy

Domestic pets are NOT permitted. Unauthorized housing of pets in guestrooms will result in a one-time fee of $150.00 plus tax as well as a daily cleaning fee of $25.00 plus tax per pet.

Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or otherwise tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service of the animal's work or the individual's disability prevents using these devices.

Please be advised that there is a grassy area at the rear of the Hotel (outside the Pacific Ballroom); service animals should relieve themselves in this area ONLY. Animal waste should be disposed of properly; in a disposable plastic bag and placed in any of the outside garbage receptacles. Animal waste should NOT be disposed of inside the building.

As a registered guest, you will be held financially responsible for any damage caused by your service animal.

Food Policy

Honor's Haven strictly prohibits the preparation of any food items in guest rooms and meeting facilities. Any unauthorized food preparation in guest rooms and/or meeting spaces will be subject to a $250.00 plus tax, deep cleaning fee. Registered guests wishing to barbeque on Hotel grounds MUST obtain prior written permission from Management.

Resort Fee and Taxes

All accommodations are subject to a Resort Fee of 18% that will be added to the Room/Package Rate. This Resort Fee is not a gratuity and is the property of the Hotel to cover discretionary costs associated with the resort amenities. All accommodations are subject to New York State sales tax and Local County Tax.

*Policy only applies to Individual Reservation Guests. Guests staying at Honor's Haven Resort & Spa through a group will be held to the policies set forth in their contract.
